Unleash your imagination and play along with me for a moment. Imagine across space and time that you are from another galaxy about to visit planet Earth, 5,000 years ago. You are told that Nature on this planet is truly astounding. As a small sample of its wonders, you are told that humongous falls (now called Niagara – I was there in November) pour out over 750,000 gallons of water per second, daily. You are told that creatures in the animal world demonstrate enormous fortitude and effort; salmon travels back, against the current, to its river of birth, completing a 4,000 km lifetime journey, to both continue the life cycle and to die. That seasonal movement of birds sees millions of them repeatedly flying back up to thousands of miles, to nest and dwell on better wintering landscapes. Would you have believed it? And then you are told that the moon suspended above exerts such powerful magnetic force that it will pull oceans in rhythmic motions across the Earth. Would you believe it?
Now, back in the now, you are reminded that these forces of nature are constantly moving forward without hesitation, restrain or doubt. These same forces have seeded in you unlimited potentiality and gifts to use, to deploy, to serve an awesome purpose and fulfill an immeasurable destiny. Do you believe it? If you don’t, I urge you to firstly suspend disbelief and find inspiration from the world around, to guide you to further tap into your greatest potential. Then, turn your splendid imagination back on to see your wildest dreams realized in your mind’s eye. Dwell in that same miraculous place from which nature surges forward with its powers. Inhabit these thoughts and let them guide your actions for 2015 to be a truly magnificent year.
